Osteogenesis Imperfecta treatment
This condition is also called the brittle bone disease. Children and adults with this condition break their bones frequently and some are unable to walk due to pain and deformities.

We have partnered with Health Partners International Canada (HIPC) from Canada and a team of doctors from BC Children's Hospital, Vancouver, Canada to avail medication that strengthens the bones to reduce he frequency and severity of the fractures. We also partner with CURE Kenya, a children's orthopaedic hospital in Kenya. We patients with bittle bone disease from CURE clinics come to our facility for zolendronic acid administration.

Every 6 months, we have a day when our patients come to the clinic for administration of Zolendronic Acid.

Severance One Family,

Physiotherapy for Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral palsy (CP) is a condition where there is a brain injury at birth resulting in dysfunctions in movement.

Many children with CP need continued physiotherapy. This becomes very expensive over time. We have partnered with a church in Northern Ireland that enables physiotherapy to be offred to these children at an affordable rate for at least one full year- 2024.

The program has been expanded to include once week physiotherapy sessions at the Machakos Shool for the Physically Disabled.

Clean Intermittent Catheterisation (CIC)
In partnership with several individuals from Netherlands ,we have began a Clean Intermittent Catherisation program ( CIC) . Clean Intermittent Catheterization (CIC) is a procedure where a catheter is periodically inserted into the bladder to drain urine, helping individuals who cannot urinate naturally. As the clinic we met several of our patient with club foot who were having urinary incontinence. These were children in the Machakos School for the Physically Disabled. We sought away to get the CIC kits and have training of the school nurse & dorm parents to champion the CIC program.

The children and Teenagers will be taught to manage the CIC on their own. The CIC helps children and teenagers manage bladder issues by promoting independence, reducing the risk of infections, and improving quality of life.

We achieve this support from various friends from Netherlands who supply the catheters to the children.
